African Big Sky Safaris is situated on the Orange River, 180 km south of Bloemfontein and 5km downstream of the Gariep Dam.(The biggest dam in South Africa.)

What does the terrain look like?

1)	Open grassland plains. The grass is knee high with the occasional bush in between. You also get beautiful mountainous areas with flood plains in the middle.
	Your camo can be more khaki due to the brownish terrain.

3)	Savanna
4)	Kalahari with thorn trees

TRAVELLING TIPS

Hunts are usually conducted in the cooler months, warm clothes are essential.
