The Orange River Tented Camp is situated only 1 km below the Gariepdam and 10 km from the N1 highway. It is ideally situated between Cape Town, Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth.

The tenthouses are built on wooden decks with en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with all the modern necessities like electricity, electrical blankets for the cooler nights, fridge, kettle and hot showers.

A big Lapa with an impressive wooden deck overlooking the majestic river is available for family reunions or team-building. Here you can enjoy funfilled nights around the fire in our Lapa or boma next door.

Each tent has it's own self catering unit with braai facilities, gas plate and cutlery. Braai packs that include Karoo lamb are available.

For the discerned nature lover Orange River Tented Camp offers a variety of activities that include team building, fly fishing, canoe safaris, horse riding, hunting, bird watching and hiking.
